Our training courses
Do you have what it takes to become a driving instructor?
To be an ADI, you need to be very patient and understanding, as well as dedicated to helping others. Another attribute is that you must be creative. There will be times when a student driver may not understand what your trying to explain. You must also love dealing with the public.
The role of an ADI can often be frustrating and demanding, both mentally and physically.
NOT EVERYONE CAN DO THE JOB!
Before your course starts
You will be given an informal interview to find out about yourself, and whether you will be suitable for training in your new chosen career.
Module 1 - The Theory and Hazard Perception Test

Unlike some ADI training establishments, we do not give you the Theory Test question Bank, and let you 'get on with it'. You'll be assigned a personal tutor to help you with your studies, when you start the course.
You will be supplied with a complete Home Study Course. This contains all the information that you need to pass both the tests. The course consists of:
During your studies, you will be expected to return your progress check and Mock Tests via email,, so your personal tutor can monitor your progress. You will get total feedback from your tutor.
The course is taken at home in your own time, at your own pace, so you can continue with your current employment.
Module 2: The Practical driving test
We offer a two days one-to-one in-car training to bring your driving skills up to the driving test standard. Unlike some of the major ADI training schools, we offer one-to one training for Parts 2 and 3. We believe that it offers you a greater chance of passing, as your getting individual tuition, rather than having to share your training time with others.
To pass the Practical test you will need to display a very high driving standard. We also include advice in running a driving school.
The training sessions can be arranged to fit in with your current employment. We recommend that you should have a minimum of 2 hour training sessions
Module 3: The test of practical teaching skills

Module 3, consists of 40 hours of practical in-car training one-to-one, on how to teach people to drive at their various skill levels. That will include, fault identifying, analysing and rectifying
The training sessions will usually last for half or one day sessions. You can of course take all the sessions in one week if you prefer.
