About Us

Our parent company Keys-Driving Academy have been training people to drive for over 20 years, and have considerable experience at teaching learner drivers.

The company decided that it is a logical extension to enter the ADI training field. We have had a lot of success since entering this market. Our aim is to make us one of the premier ADI training schools in the South East. Our other mission is to provide cost-effective, comprehensive instructor training and re-training courses. We also are very keen to promote safe driving skills.

The company has been set up by David Toms. Learn 2 Teach is based near Maidstone in Kent, in the 'Garden of England.'

David Toms our Training manager, was trained by BSM and qualified as a DSA (Cars)ADI, in 1985. He worked for them for three years before venturing out as an independent in 1988. Since then he has helped many people to pass the 'L Test.

In 1988, at the same time as going independent, he was being sub-contracted by large ADI training company to act as their Southern Area ADI trainer. However, due to restructuring, they decided not to continue with the contract in 1990.

David has also taken the City and Guilds Basic Teaching Diploma 730. He has also been involved with the Driver Improvement Scheme. The scheme is run in conjunction with Kent Police and Kent County Council. Drivers who have been convicted of a minor traffic offence are given the choice of paying a large fine, and having penalty points on their licence, or paying a reduced amount, and taking the course.
